Stage 4 is the small areas that need special attention to detail such as eyes, ears, nose, mouth collars
Stage 5 is to fill in the background. I usually add an abstract background that does not compete with the subject. I will usually chose a colour to suit that of the subject, quit often the client chooses a colour to match their decor.
